Total disaster as Rebecca Malope's cellphone gets hacked

Gospel singer Rebecca Malope's cellphone was hacked to disastrous results, a statement confirms.
According to a statement from her management, the incidents began the day after she went into a Vodacom store early last week to purchase a new phone and was requested to hand in her SIM card in exchange for a new micro SIM card which would be compatible with her new phone.
The hacker then began to spread a nasty rumour to Malope's close ones claiming that she was arrested and required donations to make bail.
"The allegations that Dr Rebecca Malope has been arrested and requires donations from the public to make bail are false. Dr Rebecca Malope's phone number has been hacked by scammers who are posing as her and requesting money from her fans; her colleagues, her associates and family through WhatsApp under false pretenses," the statement reads.
"Dr Rebecca has been liaising with Vodacom and has requested for the number to be blocked however this has not yet been done so we are appealing to the public to report the scammers to the police should they be contacted by them."
