Another Gupta inspired reshuffle is coming

THE SACP claims another Gupta inspired reshuffle is coming.
The SACP said in a statement it had learnt from reliable sources that Trade and Industry Minister Rob Davies would be replaced by a recently sworn in ANC MP who is also a businessman.
The party claims Davies will be replaced to help the Gupta family acquire a stake in ArcelorMittal.
The SACP said it wanted to speak to the ANC about evidence of manipulation of political appointments by the Gupta family.
This comes after former ANC MP Vytjie Mentor disclosed she was invited to the Gupta home in Saxonwold and offered a cabinet minister’s post with certain conditions.
Mentor claimed on Facebook the offer was made while President Jacob Zuma was in another room but Zuma claims he has no recollection of Mentor.
Deputy finance minister Mcebisi Jonas announced on Wednesday he was offered the post of finance minister days before Nhlanhla Nene was fired.
Yesterday, Public Enterprises Minister Barbara Hogan revealed in interviews how she was pressured to meet a Gupta-linked family about Jet Airways.
“I was always aware there were forces behind my back,” she said.
Mahlodi Muofhe, spokesman for Public Administration Minister Ngoako Ramatlhodi, said the minister was invited to dinner at the Guptas shortly after his appointment as Mineral Resources Minister but declined as he was busy with the platinum strike.
Yesterday, ANC secretary-general Gwede Mantashe said in a television interview the Guptas had shown an arrogance of power.
Asked if Zuma could be recalled after the National Executive Committee meeting this weekend, Mantashe said he could not pronounce what action would be taken.
In another interview, Mantashe said Zuma was not untouchable, saying no one has that status in the ANC.
He said the latest revelations would embolden people to come forward so they could identify people who are tampering with the business of the ANC.
