Cassper Nyovest snub leaves Tbo Touch in hot water

This was after he gave red hot rapper Cassper Nyovest the cold shoulder on his show The Touchdown on Monday.
Cassper was scheduled for an interview on the show as part of the SABC's promotion of the Metro FM Awards taking place later this month.
The initial arrangement was that Cassper would do the interview at the Metro FM studios in Auckland Park.
But the rapper, saying he couldn't make it to the studio, later asked that the interview be done over the phone.
This was because he would be shooting a video with the legendary Mahotella Queens for his latest smash hit Malome .
But Tbo Touch sulked and refused to interview Cassper, an action that has since landed him in hot water.
The SABC is now investigating the incident with the possibility of taking disciplinary steps against the DJ.
SABC spokesman Kaizer Kganyago said: "You must understand that the interviews are for the station, not Tbo Touch. We are aware of the incident, and it's a matter we are dealing with internally."
According to those close to the situation, Tbo Touch and Cassper's beef dates back to 2014.
One of Tbo Touch's friends, who did not want to be named, claimed the radio jock was still upset over the sponsorship deal Cassper declined.
"Touch really loved Cassper's hard work and felt that he deserved something as a reward," said the friend.
"He then got him a BMW sponsorship live on air, but felt disrespected when Cassper declined the offer."
The BMW 2 Series offer came after his hit song Gusheshe, a moniker for the legendary 1980's BMW 3 Series cars.
When asked for his account, Cassper said: "I don't comment on such things."
But on Monday, the rappertweeted: "Drop the act @iamtbotouch Nobody's fooled."
According to Tbo Touch's PR agency: "A matter regarding Cassper Nyovest has been brought to Tbo Touch's attention.
"At this stage, Touch has requested that rapper Cassper follow the correct procedures to address any matter he has with Touch and allow for due process to take place.
"Touch is focusing on his TouchWarwick wine debut at the AfriAsia Cape Wine Auction that raises millions of rands for education for the underprivileged. Last year, the auction raised R10-million in 4 hrs.
