ZUMA's rough career patch drives his wife away

RETIRED Bafana Bafana star Sibusiso “Rhee” Zuma’s soccer career has reached its sell-by date.
And his 16-year-old marriage also seems to have expired.
Sunday Sun understands the former FC Copenhagen striker’s marriage is hanging by a thread.
Sources claim Sibusiso’s rough career patch has driven his wife, Zinhle Ngcoya-Zuma, away.
A source close to the couple said: “It’s a sad situation when you look back at the luxury life they used to live while he was a soccer god.
“You can’t help thinking the life of this star is headed for disaster.”
A second source said life was tough at Zumaville.
“Zinhle moved out of their matrimonial house in the Waterfall suburb long ago, and is now said to be living in Pinetown, west of Durban.
“Sibusiso has turned to the bottle and uphuza izingudu (drinks beer quarts) as he can’t afford expensive booze.”
A third mole remarked: “It’s hard to believe not so long ago he was driving a Porsche. Now he’s got an old Toyota Tazz!”
The first-quoted source said it’s hard to think Sibusiso is hailed as a hero in Denmark, but is nothing in Mzansi.
Said the source: “A statue of him was erected in Denmark. It’s a tribute from the club of the city, FC Copenhagen. It acknowledges Sibusiso and his heroics.”
While playing there in the mid-2000s, Sibusiso contributed greatly to that club’s success.
The source said Sibusiso hung up his boots two years ago after a spell at SuperSport United.
“But he’s not respected in his hometown of Hammarsdale, outside Durban. People mock him for his fallen status and financial battles,” said the source.
Yesterday Zinhle said: “I’m not into courts. I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
When asked about their marriage, an irritated Zinhle said: “May I ask not to answer your question.
“I don’t have a comment on that.”
Sibusiso’s phone was off. He didn’t respond to messages sent to him at the time of going to print
