These two Skeem Saam actors are 'stealing' people's monies, don't go to their auditions

TWO Skeem Saam actors are accused of swindling people.
Sources claimed Putla Sehlapelo and Clement Maosa made an announcement on Thobela FM that they were going to host auditions for Skeem Saam in Seshego, Limpopo.
But Skeem Saam publicist, Percy Vilakazi, said the only official auditions were held last year at the Bassline in Newtown and in Hammanskraal. He said Skeem Saam producers never set up any other auditions. But they were later alerted that fake auditions were staged in other areas.
"For the record, we don't charge for auditions," he said.
Percy confirmed Putla ran workshops in Polokwane, but stressed the workshops have nothing to do with Skeem Saam.
"They charge because they're sharing their personal skills," he said.
The People's Paper moles said Putla told listeners the show was looking for new faces. They announced would-be TV actors should go to Honeymoon Lodge in Seshego for auditions.
Angry people, who attended the "auditions", claim when they arrived at the venue they were told to pay R250 for acting workshops.
One fuming applicant said: "We were told to pay money for workshops. No workshops took place and we were told we would be called back for the roles we would be playing in the soapie."
Another disappointed source explained: "We're embarrassed by what Putla and Clement did to us. They took us for a ride and have stolen from us in a dubious manner."
And a third furious source said: "I wonder if Skeem Saam producers know these trusted actors are busy conning people with promises of putting them on TV."
Putla's phone rang unanswered. He also did not respond to our SMSes.
Clement also did not answer our phone calls or respond to our SMSes at the time of going to print
