ALBERT Sithole’s friend was so broke that he sold Albert his three-quarter bed and two blankets.
And Albert (38) used them to make money.
He hired the bed and blankets to magoshas at Spook Town in Bekkersdal to service clients at R20 a time.
But when the friend saw how Albert was making money he got jealous and demanded him to give his bed and blankets back.
But Albert refused.
Next thing, Albert had a spear wound above his left eye – and the blankets were gone.
He then opened a case at Bekkersdal.
Now cops are looking for the suspect.
Albert told the SunTeam he never thought his business idea would put his life in danger.
“We are both not working and survive by collecting metal to sell at a scrap yard,” he said.
“Because the money we get is so little I came up with his idea to make extra cash.
“Magoshas used to come with customers, sleep there and pay me.
“When my friend demanded his bed back I refused as he had taken my R100.
“How can I pay and not get value for my money?”
Albert still has the bed in his shack and his friend is on the run
