Kelly Khumalo promises her fans fireworks

IT WILL be a weekend to remember when top musicians flock to the annual Diamonds and Dorings Music Festival in Kimberley.
The event will be held from 24 to 27 March and will see
award-winning artists like Zonke Dikana, Kelly Khumalo, Lira, Zahara, Motswako’s self-proclaimed first lady Fifi Cooper, Durban-based hip hop group WTF, Naked DJ and Metro FM’s Tbo Touch share the stage during the four-day extravaganza.
Speaking to Sunday Sun, 999 artist Kelly said she’s ready to perform at the much-anticipated event.
“It’ll be my second time at the event. It’s quite an experience. The treatment artists receive at the event is out of this world compared to what we normally get from event organisers.
“Sometimes you find artists are being compromised with everything – from travel bookings to the backstage and even on stage.
“The organising team has worked tirelessly to ensure artists are treated as important people. I had a good time before and hope to enjoy myself once again,” said Kelly.
The event kicks off with a Comedy Show on Thursday night, Gospel Show on Friday, Hip Hop Show on Saturday, Jazz on Sunday, and ends with a soccer game between Kaizer Chiefs and Kimberley Eleven on Monday
