EE Learning and Development Manager (Pick n Pay Retailers)
Pick n Pay Retailers -Johannesburg, Gauteng
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To facilitate and provide end to end learning and development interventions, as well as supporting the overall business strategy and capability through the development of learning solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with relevant stakeholders to identify and articulate learning needs in the various divisions/regions in order to meet the business objectives
In agreement with stakeholders, prioritise and design targeted learning solutions with specific learning outcomes which address the needs of the business
Conduct pilot programmes and obtain sign-off from relevant stakeholder
Develop and implement a training plan
Monitor progress of delivery across key areas of the business
Evaluate the learning impact and success of interventions against key business drivers
Facilitate training and deliver Train-the-Trainer sessions as required
Ensure adherence to standards and mitigate areas of non-conformance
The ideal candidate will have the following competencies:
Ability
determine the effectiveness of the training programme
conduct a training needs analysis
identify current organisational barriers to training and development
maintain good working relationship with all organisational stakeholders
position training and development in the organisation to support future growth
present training and development courses
Experience
working with stakeholders in delivering training and development solutions
conducting training performance reviews
delivering training courses
Knowledge
different models and approaches to identification of learning needs
training and development principles and practices
psychological principles that underpin learning
the principles and characteristics of effective feedback
