Sophie Ndaba comments on wrecking Mahlatsi's marriage

Otis Mahlatsi, the main source of the story, claimed he had a relationship with Ndaba after the latter had been hired to organise his wedding. This led to the breakdown of the marriage as he became more attracted to Ndaba, he claimed.
He provided us with two pictures of the two of them together. He even went to the extent of telephoning Ndaba in the presence of our journalist for a casual conversation to "prove" the relationship. He later changed his version.
Based on what Mahlatsi had told us, which Ndaba disputed in a counter-attack and describing Mahlatsi as a "deranged fan", we published the story with clear indications that the nature of the relationship was in contention.
