*Motshabi Tyelele* has landed a cameo television role on exciting SABC1 soapie drama Skeem Saam as Mary Matloga, Mokgadi’s mother. She made her debut appearance on the drama.
The awarding actress recently had a starring role as Aus’ Beauty on etv drama series Matatiele. Motshabi also had television roles as Thando in Suburban Bliss, as Sophie in Generations and as Eve in the first season of Madam and Eve.
Motshabi won five awards namely, the 1986 Artes Awards for Best Comedy Actress, 2001 Avanti Award for Best Sitcom Actress, 2004 Naledi Award for Best Actress in a Drama, 2006 Playhouse Company’s Tenth Celebration
of the South African Women’s Arts Festival for Best Performance by a Lead Actress award and 2010 SAFTAS Award for Best Supporting Actress
