There seems to be no end in sight to the pubic feud between Norma Gigaba, the wife of Home Affairs minister, Malusi Gigaba and fashionista, Buhle Mkhize.
Things seemed to have come to a head between Norma and Buhle in October last year, when Buhle publicly called out Norma for allegedly threatening her life and calling her a prostitute in direct messages sent on social media.
The full-blown Twitter war between Norma and Buhle also lifted the lid on alleged affair claims.
Buhle wrote an open letter on social media claiming that she had an affair with Malusi Gigaba, and that he tried to buy her silence.
On 2 December Malusi broke his silence for the first time with a statement on Instagram, where he labelled Buhle's claims as "defamation," and an "unhealthy obession with my family." He later deleted his statement.
Shortly after Malusi's online statement, Buhle returned to social media stating that she was done with this ongoing saga.
Things seemed to simmer down between them, until Buhle returned to Instagram on Monday afternoon threatening to sue Norma for defamation.
The issue intensified after someone tagged Norma on one of Buhle's pictures.
"@mrs_gigabyte Fokof wena prostitude ndini enamanga, hamba uyodayisa as usual @buhlemkhize," wrote Norma.
