HOUSE where Senzo Meyiwa was gunned down struggling to get a tenant

The house where Senzo Meyiwa was gunned down last year is reportedly on the market, but struggling to be sold. Neighbours’ talk of ghosts surely isn’t helping.
It’s been a year since Orland Pirates captain Senzo Meyiwa was killed at his girlfriend Kelly Khumalo’s  mother’s house, and now the house has been put up for sale.
For a while now, the house of death has been on the market but potential buyers are reportedly put off because they believe it’s haunted by Senzo’s spirit (Living in fear of Senzo’s killers, 11 June.).
Many house-hunters have viewed the home of the songstress’ mother Ntombi Khumalo, in Vosloorus. But as soon as they realise it’s the place where the goalie was killed in a botched robbery, they get cold feet and don’t even bother to make an offer.
We’ve reliably learnt that the house on Kutlwanong Street in Spruitview is on the market for R490 000. But, after months of trying to sell it, no one has put in an offer, and at least one estate agent has given up trying to find a buyer
