Dead broke ex Kaizer Chiefs striker loses his house, now in hot soup with SARS

FORMER Kaizer Chiefs striker Nkosinathi Nhleko has joined a team of tardy soccers stars who have lost their houses.
Sunday World can exclusively reveal Nhleko was forced to sell his multimillion-rand Meyersdal Nature Estate mansion
because he could no longer afford to keep up with monthly instalments.
We can also reveal the taxman is marking him for tax evasion.
According to documents seen by Sunday World, Nhleko bought his mansion for R2.4million with a loan he obtained in
September 2007.
He was supposed to pay a R24 815 monthly bond instalment but defaulted for at least four years.
The retired footie paid his last instalment in October 2011 and was R422 279 in arrears when the house was sold on October
12 this year.
A source who did not want to be named for fear of victimization said Nhleko was now lodging with a friend in Roodepoort
west of Johannesburg.
“He was so lucky to have gotten a buyer because he was in arrears and the house was on the brink of being repossessed,”
said the source.
Nhleko was not only dribbling the bank when it comes to repayments.
Documents show the taxman obtained judgment against him at the South Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg on March 6 this
year after he failed to settle R109 000 in unpaid tax.
Nhleko ignored calls and text messages sent to him.
