96 year old Gogo ripped of by Mandela day 'Volunteers'

GOGO Caroline Sithole was happy when “volunteers” came to paint her house as their Mandela Day 67-minutes of good deed.
But she’s sorry she let them into her house in Daveyton, Ekurhuleni.
Caroline said they took her furniture three months ago, saying they would buy her new things. Then they vanished!
Now the 96-year-old gogo sleeps in her empty house on a thin sponge mat on cold tiles.
“They took my double bed, sofas, fridge, washing machine and other things,” she said.
“They kept telling me they would come with new furniture, but I’m still waiting.”
The gogo said she saved her pension money to buy some of the things and her kids brought some.
“Now I have lost everything,” Caroline said.
Gogo said she didn’t open a case because she still hoped that the people would bring her things back.
“I think that if they see my story in the news they will feel guilty and bring them back,” said gogo.
“Sleeping on cold tiles isn’t good for my health. I don’t have enough blankets.
“They knew that I live alone and they took advantage of me.
